City of DeSoto MLK Holiday Performing Arts Show

The City of DeSoto proudly presents the MLK Holiday Performing Arts Show, a vibrant community celebration honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This year’s program highlights the incredible talents of local students, featuring performances by the DeSoto High School Choir, McCowan Middle School Dance Group and Choir, Woodridge Elementary Choir, and the African Village Drummers. The evening will also spotlight the inspiring voices of our MLK Art, Poetry, and Essay Contest Winners, who will share their award-winning work on stage. Join us on January 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the DeSoto High School Auditorium for an uplifting night of music, movement, creativity, and community unity. Guests are encouraged to bring one canned good for admission as we honor Dr. King’s message of service, hope, and togetherness. *ADMISSION IS FREE, WITH A ONE CANNED GOOD!
