Presented in conjunction with Zak Ové’s installation, this multidisciplinary event celebrates Trinidadian and Caribbean Carnival with performers, percussionists and contemporary jazz. The celebration features traditional Junkanoo performers and towering Moko Jumbies, alongside percussion series by Irawo Osa, and culminates with a live performance by Etienne Chalrles & Creole Soul. Rooted in Caribbean cultural traditions, the celebration brings rhythm, movement, and spectacle into public space, transforming the District into a dynamic, communal experience that echoes the themes of ritual, identity, and collective expression present in Ové’s work.al, identity, and collective expression present in Ové’s work.
