If you are interested in nature, art, mindfulness, or developing a deeper connection to the natural world, then the Lyonia Nature Journaling Club is for you! Join us for an introduction to nature journaling and short hike to observe the winter season at Lyonia. In this session, we will be sharing creative methods of journaling, tips to enhance your observational skills, and new exercises to build your natural curiosity in the world around you. Time will be provided for participants to share recent nature experiences, journal entries, or creative techniques with the group! Come prepared for the weather. Sunscreen, bug spray, hats, and water are recommended. The Lyonia Nature Journaling Club meets quarterly to explore the changing seasons at the Lyonia Preserve and to keep your nature journaling practice going throughout the year. This opportunity is open to all ages and abilities. Adult supervision is required for children. Bring your own nature journaling supplies (notebook, paper, pencils, and whatever art supplies inspire you) or borrow some of ours.
