Reaction Time - 11am - Grades 5, 6, and 7

Guess what!?! It’s time to sign up for December Science Saturday. This free, engaging, hands-on STEM event takes place on December 6 at IHMC, 15 SE Osceola Avenue. Students in grades 5, 6, and 7 are invited. This Science Saturday will be led by by clinical pharmacologist, Dr. Manal Fakhoury. Students will participate in a variety of hands-on and physical activities to understand and measure their reaction times under varying circumstances. Please register students in grades 3 and 4 at 9 am and students in grades 5, 6, and 7 at 11 am. Both sessions will be age appropriate, so please be sure to register for the correct time. Students in grade 7 will be provided with additional challenges not open to grades 5 and 6 and are encouraged to request seating at our 7th-graders-only table. The generosity of the season sponsors, Lockheed Martin, the Florida Blue Foundation, and Eleanor and Gary Simons, helps IHMC to offer Science Saturdays free of charge for all attendees.
