Zero-Emission Vehicle Workshop

The Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Workshop will include: * Presentations on the latest market outlook and investments for battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles. * Information on technical and funding assistance available to local fleets, including up to ~$58.6 million available through the North Texas Zero Emission Vehicle Project, * Networking with industry experts and fleets who have already jumped in, * Opportunity to see and experience ZEV through a ride along. Lunch is provided! If you have questions about ZEV, this workshop is the perfect place to get answers from industry experts, fleets, and technology providers. NCTCOG ‘s Department of Transportation is responsible for the regional planning process for all modes of transportation. The department provides technical support and staff assistance to the Regional Transportation Council and its technical committees, which compose the MPO policy-making structure. In addition, the department provides technical assistance to the local governments of North Central Texas in planning, coordinating, and implementing transportation decisions. About Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities (DFWCC): DFWCC works to reduce transportation energy use and improve air quality by providing guidance to fleets and other drivers about clean vehicle fuels/technologies, coordinating infrastructure planning and readiness, and facilitating best practices around transportation-energy integration. DFW was one of the first regions to be designated as part of the Department of Energy Clean Cities and Communities Partnership [https://cleancities.energy.gov/] in 1995. The DFW Clean Cities Coalition is hosted within the NCTCOG [https://www.nctcog.org/], which serves as the Metropolitan Planning Agency for the region.
