Artist Reception: Readymade Sunshine

Artist Reception Saturday, January 10th 6:00–9:00 PM New York sculptor Carson Fox and Denver muralist/painter Isabella Del Signore (a.k.a. Bella Lucy) will be at Stanek Gallery for one night share their newest work with our Miami audience. Join us for the unveiling of Fox's large scale sculptural installations alongside her collectable sculptures and Del Signore's recent paintings on canvas with integrated wall murals. Exhibition Details Stanek Gallery is proud to present Readymade Sunshine, an exhibition celebrating color, creativity, and the joyful labor of making. Artists Carson Fox and Bella Lucy explore what it means to build worlds that radiate optimism, humor and wonder, even in the face of chaos. Both artists bring their own brand of creative energy to transform meticulous processes into playgrounds for imagination, creating work that shares a devotion to joy, craft, and the art of keeping things interesting. In this show, each piece feels like a ray of sunshine made tangible, a chance to take home a fragment of pure joy, as if happiness itself could be bottled, commodified, and shared in art form. Carson Fox presents a new body of sculptural work that shimmers with color, texture, and light. Her resin installations transform organic forms like flowers, stones, and geodes into surreal constellations that glow like captured sky. The centerpiece of the show features a long table displaying hand-modeled bouquets of resin flowers in a range of sizes, an exuberant, celebratory gathering of color and form. Along the surrounding walls, her Wall Candy series presents ombré arrangements of thousands of individually hand-cast objects, while her Rock Garden panels sparkle with diamond dust and iridescent texture. Together, these works form a landscape that feels at once of the earth and otherworldly, grounding the exhibition in a sense of wonder and intention. Fox’s work celebrates the idea that happiness can be chosen and that the joy we felt as children at play can be carried with us throughout our lives in various forms. Through balance, craft, and a touch of magic, she invites viewers to step into a world where beauty and joy are deliberate acts of creation. Isabella Del Signore paints like she’s composing a song. Her canvases pulse with energy, filled with imaginative characters, vibrant color, and bursts of stylized text. Bella’s new series feels like an open invitation to the best party you’ve ever been to. Her lively, surreal worlds are packed with expressive color, intricate detail, and the occasional line of text that winks right back at you. One moment you’re the viewer, the next you’re the main character, then suddenly you’re just passing through a scene that feels too good to leave. Her paintings spill beyond their edges, transforming the gallery walls into lively murals that connect each composition and invite viewers directly into her world. Her process often begins with quiet written mantras of joy or prosperity, allowing those intentions to absorb into the paint as vibrations through the finished piece. Connection reigns above all else in this fun, trendy, music-loving, free-spirited world of creative expression she has manifested, a place where imagination, spirituality, friendship, and sincerity coexist to exalt the beauty and mess of being alive. Fox and Del Signore transform the gallery into a vibrant playground of color, curiosity, and controlled chaos. Their immersive, large-scale installations invite viewers to experience joy as an active, intentional force. Readymade Sunshine is a reminder that art does not have to be so serious to be serious. Sometimes the smartest thing you can do is just enjoy the view, or better yet, take a little sunshine home with you.
