Hibernation vs Brumation

Learn about animal adaptation to winter conditions with a reptile meet and greet

Commonly referred to as “Nature’s Nap Time”, winter is the time of year when there’s less food availability and can sometimes be intensely cold for animals. These environmental stressors cause a variety of animals to adapt to these seasonal conditions. We’ll discuss these behaviors in different animals and have a meet and greet with one of our resident reptiles. Recommended for all ages.
