ex•plore: Nature at Night — Myakka River State Park

Join UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County for a special "Nature at Night" program in partnership with Myakka River State Park (south entrance). Enjoy educational information about nocturnal wildlife and insects and the importance of preserving our dark skies, followed by a nighttime trail walk to search for these fascinating creatures. Advance registration is required. Registration is for ages 18+. If you plan on bringing any youth, please coordinate with the organizer at the email below. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toed footwear for going on a hike in the forest at night. If you have a flashlight or headlamp with a red light function, please bring it with you.
