New Year's Day Hike

Start the New Year the simple Way Join Us for a New Year’s Day Hike No pressure. No resolutions. No expensive gear. Just fresh air, movement, and good people. If you want to start the year doing something that actually feels good, come hike with us. Make one small commitment. Show up. Walk. Breathe. Say hello to someone you have never talked to before. This is about easing into the year, not overhauling your life. Why You’ll Love This - Move your body without it feeling like a workout - Get outside and reset your head - Meet new people in a low pressure, natural way - Start the year feeling accomplished and connected About the Hike We will be on real dirt trails with some sandy sections and gentle hills. The hike is approximately 3 to 4 miles and is a great way to kick off the year without overdoing it. Difficulty and Pace This hike is suitable for all levels. We will hike at a pace of 22-24 minutes per mile. We're a no drop group so we'll check in about 10 minutes into the hike to check on everyone's pace. Adults Only This is an adult outdoor social club event. No kids for this hike. What to Bring • Sturdy hiking shoes • Layers since you will warm up as we hike • Water • Sun & bug protection • Comfortable shoes for after the hike Fees: $2 for parking or you can park on the Memorial Park loop and walk over. The hike is free. Bring money for food and drink if you will join us for brunch afterward.
