Welcome to the "Stop Throwing Rocks at the Chain Gang" Youth Summit! This vital event aims to prevent youth crime by educating, inspiring, and empowering young people in our community. The phrase "Stop Throwing Rocks at The Chain Gang" comes from the Black community, with "rocks" symbolizing crimes and "chain gang" symbolizing prison. We aim to steer our youth away from choices that lead to incarceration. For Youth ages 13-22 years of age. Why This Summit Matters: Our community faces the critical challenge of youth involvement in crime, leading to devastating consequences.
