Largo Central Park Nature Preserve Invasive Removal

Join the City of Largo in partnership with Keep Pinellas Beautiful on Saturday, April 4th at Largo Central Park Nature Preserve! Volunteers will assist with removing invasive plant species to protect this vital ecosystem . We can't wait to see you there! PLEASE SEE EVENT DETAILS BELOW. Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event. *** WHERE TO MEET: Largo Central Park Nature Preserve – 150 S Highland Ave SE Largo, FL 33771(Click here to view in Google Maps [https://maps.app.goo.gl/YZnv3aGSHmw5DwtL6]). TIME: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in. WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers are required to wear closed toe shoes such as boots or sneakers and protective clothing. WHAT TO EXPECT: Invasive removal supplies (tools, gloves, trash bags, invasive species guide) will be provided. A water refill station will be available, please bring a refillable water bottle. Restrooms are available onsite.
