IN PERSON: Understanding & Responding to Children Who Bite

Biting is a common but challenging behavior in early childhood classrooms. This course provides early childhood professionals with foundational knowledge and proactive strategies to respond effectively and support all children involved. Participants will explore the causes and developmental reasons behind biting, learn how to observe and identify patterns, and implement preventive techniques to create a safe and supportive classroom environment. The training emphasizes the importance of age-appropriate guidance, communication with families, and maintaining a calm, consistent response when biting occurs.
