Community Invitation: Preservation Day at Yorktown Memorial Hospital Saturday, January 24, 2026 9:30am – 5:00pm Please mark your calendars. This gathering is part of our ongoing effort to care for, protect, and preserve this historic building so it can continue to be a place of memory, learning, and shared experience for generations to come. Volunteer Cleanup Day: Throughout the day, volunteers will help with light cleanup and outdoor care while also sharing conversation, asking questions, and learning more about the hospital’s history and our preservation plans. Whether you stay for a few hours or the entire day, every helping hand and every friendly face makes a difference. To thank our volunteers, we’ll be providing hot dogs, water, soda, chips, snacks, and thank-you bags as a small token of our appreciation. As the day winds down, we’ll come together for something a little special. Free Tour & Investigation: 5:30pm – 9:30pm (Must be present at 5:30pm to participate) This evening experience is our way of saying thank you to those who spend the day helping preserve the hospital, offering time to explore, reflect, and connect with the building in a respectful and memorable way. All are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothes, bring good energy, and join us for a day rooted in stewardship, community care, and shared history. We look forward to seeing you on January 24, 2026.
