FIRST RESPONDERS INCLUDE: (LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, JAILERS, CBP OFFICERS, FIREFIGHTERS, EMS PERSONNEL, NURSES, SCHOOL NURSES, SCHOOL OFFICERS, AND CRISIS WORKERS) Developed specifically for First Responders, this course will provide a foundational understanding of the opioid public health crisis and the overdose epidemic and how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN * Acquire a foundational understanding of the opioid public health crisis and the overdose epidemic * Recognize the signs of an opioid overdose * Demonstrate how to administer the intranasal opioid overdose reversal drug naloxone
