Second Thursdays at the Carter: Love & Libations

Each month you’ll find something different than the last—mingle with fellow art lovers, make art, and meet visiting artists, sometimes with live music and always with themed cocktails inspired by the Carter’s collection. In February, invite your crush, your crew, or come alone and meet someone new for a night themed around the many types of love in our lives. 5–5:30 p.m. Play the game “Bed, Wed, or Behead” with a Carter staff member and make your case about which artworks you love, like, or hate. 5–6:30 p.m. Giving flowers to your loved ones? Get to know the floral still-life paintings in the Carter’s collections with the Art Cart. 5–8 p.m. Listen to love-inspired songs by Aautumn [https://www.aautumn.com/]while you make an old-school Valentine’s Day card to express your feelings for someone. Enjoy drinks for purchase, including a specialty Love Potion No. 9 cocktail. Carter members get one complimentary drink! Lite bites are available for purchase at the Carter’s Food Cart.
