Butterfly Walk, Project Monarch and Xerces Society Research on the Greenway

Guided butterfly walk with experts, including Monarch identification and tagging

As an ecotour of the Wild Amelia Nature Festival, join Patty Sheffer and Kathy Russell on a guided walk to search for and identify butterfly species along the Greenway's nature trails. Following an introduction to Project Monarch and Xerces Society Research, you will be looking for Monarchs to capture and tag. All ages welcome. Bring: Cameras, comfortable walking shoes, sun and insect protection, and drinking water.
