Yours will be totally unique and can be minimalist or maximalist. You can use geometric and abstract shapes, or playful shapes like animals. Our pieces will be rustic and beautiful! I have tons of underglaze colors to paint them, or you can keep it simple. I'll be firing your pieces for you, first to bisque temperature, and applying a clear matte glaze, and then to mid-fire Cone 6 - so the earthiness remains rather than an overly shiny beginner feel. I welcome adventurous beginners, but this project may work best for people who have tried clay classes before. If you have never done a clay class, check out my Little Bowls or Nature Plates class, to get a little experience. Once your pieces are fired, they'll be available for you to pick up in about 4 weeks. You'll be able to make 1-2 candlesticks, depending on how many shapes you use in a piece.
