Rocket Camp - FWB

Students ages 12 years old and up who are participating in the Rocket Camp should have an interest in the general physics behind how rockets and planes fly. They will build a single and double stage rocket, design a payload holder to transport a mini camera, learn about rocketry and the forces of flight. On the Saturday, July 18, 2026, we will offer an opportunity for parents to see the students rocket take off at the HSU STEM Range in Laurel Hill. Plan to arrive at HSU STEM Range at 7396 Bill Lundy Road in Laurel Hill from 9:00am until noon to see the cumulation of their hard work. This camp is held at the HSU Innovation Institute South at 709 Anchors Street in FWB on July 6-10, 2026 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Participants must wear closed toe shoes.
