StoryHouse: Community Sessions

A safe, outdoor space for sharing personal stories and connecting with community

StoryHouse: Community Sessions is a time and place to be open with yourself and your community. We gather and share personal stories based on the session's topic. The topic changes for each monthly session. This is a safe space to laugh, cry, smile, vent howl or whatever you need to do. All stories stories told are trusted to be held safe and sacred within the space we create together as a community. If you are not yet ready to share your story for the topic, that is fine, as you are not required to speak during the session. We do ask that the upmost respect is given for those who allow themselves to be open and vulnerable during the session. It takes strength to trust and allow others into our lives by sharing our stories. We want to reward that strength with empathy and compassion. The session takes place out in Trebly Park so please plan accordingly, as we are out on the grass. Blankets and chairs are provided, but they are first come, first serve, so you are welcome to bring your own preferred seating. Sessions start with music and a time to mix and meet with your community over games and through conversations. We would love to see you at the next session and join the community! StoryHouse by itself is only a house. It is your presence in it that makes it a home.
