Relaxing outdoor meditation sessions in the serene beauty of Discovery Gardens

Meditation in the Garden invites participants to slow down, relax, and connect with the natural beauty of Discovery Gardens in Tavares. Sessions take place outdoors and may include guided group meditation on the lawn or quiet, self-guided reflection in a peaceful garden space of your choosing. This series encourages residents to experience their outdoor spaces as places for rest, mindfulness, and well-being - not just mowing and maintenance. Classes are held every other Wednesday morning during the comfortable months of March, April, September, and October. Date: Wednesdays in March, April, September and October Time: 10:00 am to 11:00 am Location: Discovery Gardens UF/IFAS Extension Lake County, 1951 Woodlea Road, Tavares, FL 32778 Capacity: 18 people Cost: Free Notes: * Bring a water bottle for hydration. * Meditation mats will be provided, bring a chair if you prefer. * Sessions will be outdoors.
