Event Description: Welcome to Dungeons and Dragons! Are you new to D&D? Don’t know where to start? Overwhelmed by rules? Just can’t find the right group? Come enjoy a friendly game with other newbies! Explore the world of D&D, try out role-play, fight some basic combat, learn about safety- and have fun in a low-pressure environment! Level 1 tutorial one-shot with Dungeon Master Mo. First time players ideal, experienced players welcome! Character sheets will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please be on time- players MUST arrive within 15 minutes in order to play. About the Dungeon Master: “Mo Medved (they/them) is a genderfluid artist, educator, and DM from San Diego, California. They’ve been playing D&D for 10 years! Mo brings the joy of getting messy and embracing the weird to all kinds of adventuring parties. They love everyday magic, funky creatures, and players who give it their all. Their worlds are about finding the real in the mythical and the wonder in the mundane- with a focus on centering non-western perspectives and making the table a place for everyone to build their stories together. When not working as a DM, Mo defies the law of conservation of mass and ceases to exist on this plane of the universe, creating a temporal and spatial anomaly that spits them back out at the beginning of the next work day.
