How will the widows respond as their idyllic town and lifestyle faces attacks? Secrets come out as they wrestle with hysteria, survival and a fate worse than death: a world without quiche!Tenderhearted, raucous, and wickedly funny, 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche is a love letter to friendship, identity, and the life-sustaining power of a well-made egg dish. This show is recommended for ages 14 and up. While not explicit, the show contains adult humor, innuendo, and themes that may not be suitable for younger audiences. About This PerformanceCheese Platter Productions is a self-funded, women-led theatre company from northern New Jersey, born from the cast of Nutley Little Theater's 2024 production of 5 Lesbians, which won the 2024 NJACT Perry Award for best play. We are heading to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2026, and we need your help to get there. This special fundraising performance at Crossroads serves as an encore of that production, a preview for those who can't make it across the pond to Fringe, and one of our final opportunities to raise the funds needed to bring this award-winning production to one of the world's largest stages.Every ticket purchased goes directly toward making our Edinburgh run possible. Whether you've followed this production since its award-winning run in Nutley or you're simply wondering what on earth 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche is, we'd love to welcome you. Come spend an afternoon laughing with us, meet the wonderfully bizarre women of the Susan B. Anthony Society, and experience the joy of THE EGG before we take the show to Scotland.
