Ancient Shoreline Nature Walk: Exploring Lake Okeechobee Ridge Trail

Step back in time and discover the natural beauty and ancient history of the Lake Okeechobee Ridge Trail. This guided nature walk will take you through a rare and remarkable landscape that reflects what “Old Florida” once looked like. Surrounded by towering cypress trees and sprawling fig trees, we will learn about the ecological and cultural history of this preserve and what makes it so unique. If you are looking for an adventure off the beaten path- this hike is for you!
