Join us for Empower for Faith Communities, an educational training designed to equip faith leaders, ministry teams, and community members with practical tools and knowledge surrounding mental and behavioral health. WHAT YOU’LL LEARN Through this course, participants will: * Better understand many common mental and behavioral health topics * Gain knowledge to support individuals struggling with mental and behavioral health challenges, including appropriate referrals for treatment * Learn practical skills that can be implemented immediately following the training * Become part of the solution in eliminating the stigma surrounding mental and behavioral health Location: 13000 Jones Rd in the Connections Room Presented by: Tanya Melendez Community Education Manager Hope and Healing Center & Institute 1.0 hours for Licensed Mental Health Providers may be earned at this event. We adhere to the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.
