From new releases by emerging voices to beloved community favorites, fiction to non-fiction and everything in-between, explore the diversity of American literature from an Asian American lens. All meet ups are free and open to the public to attend. Must be 18+. All sessions are hosted in person at the AARC. No need to have finished the book to attend, though recommended. See below for Hyphenated's reading list and meet up dates. THIS MONTH'S BOOK Severance [https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/36348525-severance?ref=nav_sb_ss_1_10] by Ling Ma  Severance is a post-apocalyptic send-up and takedown of the rituals, routines, and missed opportunities of contemporary life as well as a quirky coming-of-adulthood tale and satire.  ABOUT THE ASIAN AMERICAN RESOURCE CENTER The Asian American Resource Center’s mission is to create a space of belonging and healing for Asian American communities in Austin and beyond. We do this through community collaborations and partnerships; providing rental space; organizing cultural, educational and health wellness programs; and curating art and historical exhibitions.
