About Dana Swift: DANA SWIFT started making up fantasy worlds when she was eleven years old and hasn’t stopped since. Dana currently lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and goldendoodle, Kala, who’s antics inspired the dragons in When Dealing With Dragons. About Charlotte Lobdell: Charlotte Lobdell is a graduate of USC's Film & Television Production program, where she studied writing, directing, and acting. She grew up just outside San Francisco, organizing the children's section at her mom's bookstore, skipping school to get R.L. Stine's autograph, and writing fanfic as a Warriors cat on Neopets. As an audiobook narrator, she has worked with Macmillan, Amazon, Scholastic, and more, narrating across genre—from rom-com, to YA, to fantasy. She is part of Penguin Random House’s 2026 Narrator Mentorship Program, and was selected for Macmillan’s New Narrator Program.
