Orlando Sentinel's 150th Anniversary, Our Environment

A panel discussion on Central Florida's environmental issues featuring key experts and a free plant for attendees

Central Florida's growth over the past 150 years has been astounding, but it's also taken a significant toll on our environment. As part of its 150th anniversary celebration, the Orlando Sentinel will host a panel discussion about environmental issues facing our area. The Sentinel’s panel will feature representatives from key environmental groups. Among the participants are Julie Wraithmell, Vice President and Executive Director of Audubon Florida; Kim Dinkins, Policy and Planning Director for 1000 Friends of Florida; and Ashley Rearden, Director of Conservation for the East Coast Zoological Society and John Rivers, CEO of 4R Restaurant Group and chairman of 4Roots. As a special thank you, everyone in attendance will receive a free plant to take home, courtesy of Jungle Room/BWH Plant Co. in College Park. Due to limited seating, please register in advance.
