FL's Emancipation Day Movement & Percussion Workshop

Hued Songs invites the community to gather for a vibrant block party rooted in freedom, creativity and joy starting off with an immersive workshop guided by vocalist and teaching artist Alana DaCosta, with live percussion from Abasi Hanif to guide the movement. Be prepared to move, stretch, laugh and celebrate freedom! After the class stay for the Block Party featuring curated bites, community activations and a live performance featuring sounds celebrating Florida's Emancipation Day legacy!
