The Hidden Gulf: Community Screening and Conversation

Explore Gulf coral ecosystems through a documentary and discussion in a garden setting

Join us for a World Ocean Day celebration and journey into the deep Gulf to explore fragile coral ecosystems devastated by the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and the urgent efforts to restore these vital, hidden habitats. A collaborative evening hosted by local Tampa Bay eco organizations (Early Career Ocean Professionals, Friends of Tampa Bay Aquatic Preserves, St Pete Eco Club, Remora, and ReThink Energy Florida) in the beautiful backyard garden of Beech Kombucha, we invite you to participate in a conversation following the documentary screening. Food and kombucha will be available for purchase.
