Second Thursdays at the Carter: Cameras & Community

Monthly art-themed gatherings with rotating activities, themed cocktails, and artist interactions

Each month you’ll find something different than the last—mingle with fellow art lovers, make art, and meet visiting artists, sometimes with live music and always with themed cocktails inspired by the Carter’s collection. In June, examine the untold history of Black-owned media and Black photojournalists that were working in the 1940s to the 1980s in Black Photojournalism [https://www.cartermuseum.org/exhibitions/black-photojournalism]. Check back soon for the schedule. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request. Please send us an email [publicprograms@cartermuseum.org] for more information.
