Exposure - The Taurus / Gemini Celebration!

May is often referred to as the greatest month of the year, since so many creatives are born in that month, plus it's the beginning of summer! To that point, dj NIMBUS / Sour D / dj Cheez all move one more year towards infinity, and we are going to light up the decks like never before celebrating another year completed on planet Earth! J. Salaam will also be dropping in to bless us with some soulful tunes as always for his first time in our new home! If you made it out last month, it was a complete blast from start to finish, and we are going to take it another level higher this month! Henke & Pillot not only offer a great place for us to enjoy some of the best music in Houston, but a good menu for those who have the munchies after dark, strong drinks, plenty of comfortable seating and dance area, as well as hookah for those who partake! Parking?? Yes, and let's break down all the options! First, the venue offers valet for $20, which is cheaper than all of the self park lots and garages in the area. There are two parking garages one block away, and a uncovered parking lot across the Market Square park in front of Henke & Pillot. Street parking is free if you feel inclined to hunt for an open space downtown. Parking in Houston inner city is a challenge anywhere from the Galleria to downtown/midtown, Montrose, 3rd Ward, Heights and almost anywhere worth being. The event is free, and the drinks are reasonable price wise, so don't let parking cheat you of an amazing time!
