A: This event is offered on a sliding scale donation basis. Our model relies upon your generosity, and we thank you for helping to ensure the continuity of our Temple Arts community. May every blessing be multiplied. Q: What to do you mean "Temple"? A: This is a sacred space to commune with the divine within each of us. A place to worship ourselves and each other, to be of service with a devotional heart. Q: Will there be sex? A: No, this particular temple event is to explore consensual platonic touch & sacred intimacy. Genital stimulation will NOT occur at this event. The focus is placed on sensuality rather than sexuality. However, with that boundary, erotic energy & arousal are regarded as natural, sacred & welcome in the temple. Disrobing is also welcome to your own personal level of comfort, AND there is no expectation of nudity. It is YOUR choice what you'd like to do with your body, so long as you are in full respect of the agreements of our temple & the boundaries of others, & are protecting the safety & sacredness of our container. Q: Do I need to know anything about Tantra or be Spiritual? A: No, but come with an open mind & a curious heart. Q: Do I need to come with a partner? A: Nope, couples & singles are welcome. Singles are common. Q: What should I wear? A: Something that helps you feel confident, sexy, & comfortable. Sacred adornments & lavish temple wear are always encouraged. Q: Should I bring anything? A: You are welcome to bring massage tools, healing instruments (like tuning forks), sensation play toys (like feathers), & natural healthy luscious massage oils. If you don't bring your own oil & you desire some, there will be some special herb-infused oils available for purchase, or coconut oil freely available. Q: Who is facilitating? A: Hannah, Mahina & RuthAnne, are seasoned embodiment and intimacy coaches, ministers and priestesses, & healing arts practitioners. Trauma-informed, and masterful facilitators, you can learn more about them at www.thetempleofsacredarts.com. Q: When should I arrive? A: Temple doors open at 7pm. Please do NOT enter the space earlier than 7pm, as we are preparing ourselves & the space. We have a 15-min arrival window for you to come in, get smudged, get some tea, & settle in. Opening circle begins at 7:22. Doors will be locked at 7:20. Give yourself time to find parking. You will not be admitted if you arrive after 7:20. Q: If I am deeply uncomfortable with touch/nudity &/or have extreme sexual trauma I am actively processing, is this a good space for me? A: Probably not. This space is best for those who have a baseline of safety established within them. This temple is best for those who have already done some work around their sexuality and want to continue & are ready to deepen with community. If you have a inner landscape filled with sexual trauma landmines, you will likely be better served to explore some other forms of somatic sexual trauma healing before attending this temple. I offer this type of support and also have a list of practitioners & trainings I can recommend to you. Feel free to reach out. 🙏
