About Charity: Charity Ramsey Irizarry, creator of Soul Art by Charity in Pompano Beach has been commissioning Soul Portraits since 2008, which are stunning one-of-a-kind canvas portraits expressing soul essence; using acrylics and mixed media (beads, crystals, stones and lots of glitter!) to engage in the flow of subtle energy, transforming a vibrant inner landscape into unique art that energizes one’s inner light. In 2016, her love for the ocean and conservation inspired her to create dynamic art on reclaimed Florida surfboards she calls Soul Boards using brightly colored animals and symbolism to tell insightful stories. As a medical provider and educator, Charity recognizes the value of using art as an Integrative wellness practice for personal transformation and as a mirror for self-awareness. Celebrating 14 years breast cancer free, she believes that creating a sacred painting practice illuminates inner wisdom and healing by creating clarity and presence in the creative now!
