Devil's Millhopper State Park: Guided Sinkhole Hike

Devil's Millhopper State Park: Guided Sinkhole Hike Come join us for a fun day at Devil's Millhopper State Park on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. (EST)! We will take 15 attendees through a guided hike into the sinkhole. A National Natural Landmark, Devil’s Millhopper Geological State Park is a miniature rain forest at the bottom of a bowl-shaped cavity 120 feet deep. Lush vegetation thrives, even in hot dry summers, thanks to the small streams that trickle down the steep slopes of the limestone sinkhole. Meet at the main entrance parking lot.
