What does connection look like? Visualize it with us as we turn ideas into collages and strangers into friends. Join We Met in Broward, Pana Mia Club, and Zero Empty Spaces for a creative, collaborative night of vision boarding and conversation at Gulfstream Park. We’ll start with a hands-on vision boarding activity — inviting you to imagine what connection and community in Broward could look like — then move into small-group conversations to share ideas, reflect, and help shape what’s next. No artistic experience needed! Just bring your curiosity (and magazines if you’d like — we’ll have supplies, too). LOOKING FOR A NEW FRIEND OR ROMANTIC SPARK? At We Met events, we wear wristbands that show others who we are and what we’re looking for (choose one, two or all three): 💚 green for love 💙 blue for friendship 🌈 rainbow for members of the LGBTQIA+ community 💌 if you meet someone special, we’ll help you reconnect after the event BRING YOUR CREATIVITY We’ll provide vision boarding supplies including paper, adhesive, and collage materials — but feel free to bring magazines, photos, or anything else you’d like to use. This is a creative and collaborative experience: part art-making, part conversation, part community-building. HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT: 6 p.m. Arrival. Check in, choose your wristbands and make a name tag. Settle in. 6:30 p.m. Opening. We’ll start with a welcome, introductions, and an icebreaker. 6:45 p.m. Vision boarding. Time to create: Visualize what connection and community in Broward look like to you. 8 p.m. Small-group conversations. Share your vision, exchange ideas, and help shape future community events in Broward. 8:45 p.m. Wrap-up. We’ll come back together to reflect and share highlights. 9 p.m. Event ends. Meet someone cool? Submit your Connection Card. If you match, we’ll help you reconnect after the event.
