Venice Canals Architectural Walking Tour + Venice Beach Boardwalk - FREE!!!

Greetings, Looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon in SUMMER 2026??? Why not join us for a leisurely walking tour of the Venice Canals and Venice Beach Boardwalk? ITINERARY: 1. Meeting location and time: Meeting time: 3:30 PM PST Please meet at the Venice Beach Windward Plaza Park LA Police Department Substation near the I-BEAM Scupture located at: Venice Beach Windward Plaza Park 1 Windward Avenue Venice, CA 90291 Some members may be running late, so we can wait 15-20 minutes for members that may be running late. The members may chat, mingle, socialize, and get to know each other better. 2. We can set out on the hike from the Venice Beach Windward Plaza Park LA Police Department Substation towards Venice Beach Boardwalk. Activities: a. Walk to Venice Skate Park and Venice Skate Dance Park to review the activities; view the Pacific Ocean and activity along the beach along with the architecture of the various buildings along the coast. b. Tour through Venice Beach Boardwalk to review the activities on the Boardwalk and the artworks on the buildings. c. Walk to Venice Blvd on the Venice Beach Boardwalk and proceed to the Venice Canals. d. Tour through the Venice Canals to observe the flora and fauna and review the architecture of the houses and the activities along the Venice Canals. e. Walk from the Venice Canals to Venice Park/Venice Beach again to view the art works on the buildings and the activities along the Venice Beach Boardwalk. f. Break to rest, enjoy a food item from the many street vendors along the Venice Beach Boardwalk, continuing to mingle and socialize. The members may choose to enjoy a delicious ice cream treat from the from the many street vendors along the Venice Beach Boardwalk before the hike, after the hike, or BOTH!!! Please bring enough water for approximately a 2 mile LEVEL hike, a pair of comfortable walking shoes, and some snack items to consume. during the hike. This hike is not meant to exhaust the members; it is just a light, easy hike to enjoy the views of the Pacific Ocean, review the architecture of the buildings along the coast, get some exercises, mingle, socialize, and get to know the other members.
