Discover these historical treasures and more during a free scavenger hunt and civic connection happy hour at Museum of Miami on Thursday, July 16. Let history inspire you and current events fuel your curiosity during this unique experience from We Met in Miami and Miami Civics Club. We’ll have the museum all to ourselves for the evening as we break into teams and compete for prizes during a dynamic scavenger hunt.  Let’s form lasting connections with other civic-minded community members during facilitated icebreakers and conversations. Plus: Enjoy free wine and lite bites. Parking is just $5 with validation at the Cultural Center Parking Garage. Public Transportation: Government Center is right across the street. Arrive via metrorail, metromover, or bus. Looking for a new friend or romantic spark? Check in, choose your wristbands and make your name tag. Grab a glass of wine and start mingling. 7 p.m. Opening and icebreaker. We’ll start with some introductions and a civic icebreaker designed to help you connect with your representatives and neighbors. 7:20 p.m. Scavenger hunt. In a small group, you’ll explore the Museum of Miami’s Tropical Dreams exhibit, hunting for hidden historical clues and competing for prizes. 8:15 p.m. Small group conversations. Dive deeper into important issues from Miami’s past and present during facilitated conversations. 8:45 p.m. Group photo and mingle. Continue connecting. 9 p.m. Event end. Meet someone cool?
