GitHub Copilot Hands-On Workshop

Learn to use GitHub Copilot for free in software development during this hands-on workshop

Can't attend in person? Join the meeting virtually (on May 27) by clicking on this link. [https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84006330623?pwd=a1Au9EXeWifTCLKcJue3fsN2dya759.1] BUT DON'T RSVP! We'll start the streaming presentation at 7 PM. We'll have pizza at 6:30 for those attending in-person! About the talk: GitHub is an essential tool for any developer. But it's much more than just a place to store source code. With the addition of Copilot, you now have a powerful tool to help with the entire software development lifecycle. This workshop will walk you through some Copilot features available through VSCode and even how to create agentic workflows. Bring your laptop so you can try it yourself. You'll need a GitHub account. Since GitHub currently doesn't allow upgrading to Pro, we will stick to what you can do with the free GitHub Copilot.
