MLK, Jr. Learning Garden: Worm Race & Release

A fun and educational afternoon with worm-themed activities and story time at the MLK, Jr. Learning Garden

Join us May 28th at 4:30pm in MLK, Jr. Learning Garden for a Worm Race and Worm Release! Kids aged four and over are encouraged to participate, but the event is open to anyone who would like to learn more about our gardens, and how earth worms help our soil ecosystems. The Winter Park Library will also be doing a story time themed to our worm release! We will provide all supplies necessary for each activity. The racing worms are paper crafts, and the released worms will be live worms to benefit our garden! We recommend wearing closed-toed shoes and bringing water as this event is entirely in our garden! Please reach out to sustainability@cityofwinterpark.org for any questions or concerns regarding the event. We hope to see you there!
