Lanco MG Club's 2026 "A Taste of Britain" & Classic European Vehicle Show
The Lanco MG Club's 36th annual "A Taste of Britain" is a British and Classic European Vehicle show. The event allows car and motorcycle owners to enjoy a stress free day sharing their interest(s) with other enthusiasts. 2026 will be our second year at Sylvan B Fisher Township Park located on Stone Quarry Rd and Rte 772 in Brownstown PA. The park has more shade than our previous location while providing a similar shaped show field for participants. This year's show will have some changes from our previous formats. First, we are introducing a popular vote for trophies in the following catergories: "Best in Show", "Diamond in the Rough", and "Car I Want to Take Home". An additional prize will be awarded for "Longest Distance Driven to The Show". All show participants will be entered into a raffle with prizes being awarded throughout the show. As well as British vehicles, "A Taste of Britain" is now open to ALL European marques classic or antique vehicles. (Year 2001 or previous.) The judged part of the show is limited and not intended to discourage normal drivers and running restorations. Bring your vehicle - in any condition - to this informal gathering of like-minded individuals. Meet old friends, make new friends, link up with others that have, or have had, your same marque and model of car. Trade "war stories" and technical help. Food trucks will also be available until approximately 2:00 p.m. A large tent with tables and chairs will be provided for your use. Dash plaques will be given for the first 125 registered vehicles. The show will be held "rain or shine". N otes: * Pre-registration cost through August 16th is $25 per vehicle. August 17th through Day-of-Show the registration fee is $35 per vehicle. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER! * Registration fees include credit card and Eventbrite processing costs. These will NOT be charged to you separately! * Registration will open at 9:30 a.m. Day of Show. If you arrive ahead of that time we ask your patience as we prepare the field for a safe event. * For those not registering a vehicle for the show but attending to spectate parking will be available near the show field. We will be taking donations to support Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development in Lancaster PA. The suggested donation is $5.00 per spectator and includes a ballot for the show. Kids 10 and under are free. * A portion of the show proceeds, including all spectator parking and show ballot sales, will be donated to Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development in Lancaster PA.
