Whether it’s your very first time on stage or you’re a seasoned comedian developing your next feature or headlining set, Mellow’s Monday Night Madhouse is your home to learn, grow, connect, and laugh. We believe every great comedian starts somewhere, and every performance is another step toward becoming better. Stage Time Opportunities 5-Minute Beginner Spots Perfect for first-timers and newer comedians looking to gain confidence, develop stage presence, and begin building a solid set. 7-Minute Showcase Spots Designed for comics with established material who are refining their act and preparing for longer performances. Three 10-Minute Feature Spots Reserved for comedians with stronger, proven material who are working toward featuring, closing shows, or headlining. Our goal is to feature approximately 15 comedians each Monday, creating an exciting, fast-paced show that runs about 90 minutes. If the room is buzzing and everyone is having a great time, we’ll keep the laughter rolling until 10:00 PM. More Than an Open Mic This is a place to: * Build confidence on stage. * Test new jokes in front of a live audience. * Meet and network with fellow comedians. * Support one another and strengthen Arizona’s comedy scene. * Develop the skills needed to perform on larger showcases.
