Ride Smart, Ride Safe: Micromobility Presentation

As micromobility use continues to rise in our community, so do crashes and preventable injuries. The Broward Sheriff’s Office – Cooper City District is hosting an interactive educational presentation designed to keep riders—and everyone on the road—safe. This session will cover Florida laws for e-bikes and scooters, the new Cooper City ordinance, and what it truly means for a device to be “street legal.” Attendees will walk through real-life scenarios, learn practical tips to avoid crashes, and see safety demonstrations that highlight how quickly things can go wrong—and how to prevent it. This is an open, informative environment where parents and teens are encouraged to ask questions, gain clarity, and better understand their responsibilities on the road. Ride smart. Ride safe.
