City Nature Challenge guided hike at Lake Wales Ridge State Forest

CITY NATURE CHALLENGE GUIDED HIKE AT LAKE WALES RIDGE STATE FOREST Take part in Polk County’s City Nature Challenge at Lake Wales Ridge State Forest! Come learn about native and rare plants living on the Lake Wales Ridge. Download the iNaturalist app to record what you see. The hike will cover approximately one mile and will cross through unique natural communities such as sandhill and seasonal wetlands. Registration encouraged but not required.
