Got a necklace with a broken clasp? A lamp that won’t turn on? A chair that’s seen better days? You’re in luck — Fix It! Don’t Pitch It is back!🧵🔧💍 Bring your “broken” (but fixable😉) items and get FREE help from skilled volunteers who want to help you repair rather than replace. Let’s keep good stuff out of the landfill and give it a second life. ♻️ Fix It! Don't Pitch It is a unique community workshop that has gained momentum in other communities. The goal is to repair common items, reducing consumption and overall waste, while educating people about our throw-away culture's environmental and social impacts. These workshops serve as an opportunity to demonstrate how we can prevent much of the waste we create by increasing access to repair services within communities and supporting “do-it-yourself” repair knowledge and initiatives.
