Celebrate the end of the spring season at Open Studios! Visit Bakehouse studios and facilities to learn more about the many artist practices in our community, and join us for a few activations ✨ This month, we're honoring Haitian Heritage Month with a special screening of Mystic Triangle by Christopher Mitchell in the Audrey Love Gallery. Rooted in years of fieldwork and interviews, the film documents Haitian culture and the lived experiences of his community 🇭🇹 Shared Printmaking Facilities (SPF) invites you to celebrate National Paper Airplane Day! Drop in to make Paper Airplanes-- print your own phrases and experiment with bookbinding techniques to create a one-of-a-kind aircraft ⁀જ➣ Close out the night with a karaoke session hosted by our very own Augusto Esquivel! Program Schedule: 7 - 8 PM: Mystic Triangle screening 🇭🇹 8 - 9 PM: Karaoke in the gallery 🎤 All evening / 6 - 9 PM: * Explore artist studios & facilities * Visit Past, on view at the Swenson Gallery * Paper airplane making with SPF * Stop by Bookleggers, Miami’s only free and independent bookstore, for free book (or two, or ten)!
