Gulf Bend Center's Friendship Fest Event

A free family-friendly fest with games, snacks, local resource booths, and a focus on inclusion for people with disabilities

The goal of Friendship Fest is to raise awareness while celebrating the abilities and promoting the inclusion of people with intellectual & developmental disabilities. This event seeks to challenge stereotypes, promote inclusivity & acceptance, and encourage meaningful interactions between people with & without disabilities to foster empathy, respect, and mutual understanding to aid in a more inclusive society where people with IDD are valued and empowered members. This will be a free, fun filled event for the entire family. There will be games, activities, snacks, etc. There will also be an opportunity to visit local agency booths for information and resources. Everyone who registers will receive a FREE event bag (while supplies last).
