LEARNINGPALOOZA: Brain Development & Music for Non-Musicians

Learn how music enhances brain development and learning in early childhood, even for non-musicians

This training will explore the powerful connection between music and brain development in early childhood. Participants will learn three key ways music can be intentionally used in the classroom by all teachers — even those without a musical background — to support learning, engagement, and social-emotional development. The session will also demystify brain development for early childhood educators by examining three major areas of the brain and how they grow and change throughout early childhood. Scientific research and practical classroom strategies will be shared to help educators better understand how music and intentional interactions support healthy brain development and learning.
