Beginning Sewing

You've learned to thread the needle and sew a straight seam. Now what? In this two-hour workshop for beginners you'll cover how to finish seams, adjust sticth length and width to fit the project and fabric, create a "gathering stitch," and more. This class includes both hand and machine sewing. Idea Box has multiple Singer Heavy Duty sewing machines for student use. Students with portable machines are welcome to bring their own machine from home.
