Second Thursdays at the Carter: Monuments & Martinis

Explore art, enjoy themed cocktails, and learn about the Statue of Liberty's depiction through history

Each month you’ll find something different than the last—mingle with fellow art lovers, make art, and meet visiting artists, sometimes with live music and always with themed cocktails inspired by the Carter’s collection. In September, learn about the making of the exhibition The Statue of Liberty from Bartholdi to Warhol [https://www.cartermuseum.org/exhibitions/statue-liberty-bartholdi-warhol] and discover how the artistic depiction of the Statue of Liberty has evolved over the last 150 years. Check back soon for the schedule. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request. Please send us an email [publicprograms@cartermuseum.org] for more information.
