VOLUNTEERS FOR A HEALTHY HILLSBOROUGH RIVER - IGNACIO HAYA LINEAR PARK Join Ecosphere Restoration Institute and the Rotary Club of Ybor City to help maintain the restoration site and living shoreline at Ignacio Haya Linear Park in Tampa. Volunteers will remove trash from this linear park along the river and may install some native plants, helping to improve water quality and enhancing wildlife habitat. Wear closed-toed shoes, dress to get a little dirty, and bring a reusable water bottle. We'll provide gloves, trash pickers, trash bags, and drinking water. Please meet at the north end of the park. This event is suitable for middle school students and older. We look forward to seeing you there! This event is partially sponsored by the Tampa Bay Estuary Program Mini-Grant program, which is funded by the Tarpon Tag: Tampa Bay Estuary Specialty License Plate - Tarpon Tag [https://tbep.org/get-involved/tarpon-tag/]. Purchasing a Tarpon Tag supports environmental restoration projects throughout Tampa Bay!
